Dementia Care Facilities

The LeadingAge Wisconsin Dementia Care Designation System™ presents an opportunity to raise the standard for what “dementia care community” means when a provider is advertised as such to the public. This tool offers a better means to objectively measure the reasons underlying why a facility can market their supports and services as quality dementia care with a more transparent and accountable system for consumers and families to trust. Click the button to see a list of facilities who have earned their Dementia Care score.

Control Your Supply Expenses

Value First is a group purchasing organization that leverages the buying power of long-term care communities to provide significant savings on food, medical, janitorial, office supplies, capital equipment, and new construction materials. Providers who participate in the Value First purchasing program pay no annual fee, select only the suppliers that best fit their needs, and support LeadingAge Wisconsin with their purchases. This video showcases how Value First helped a provider’s transition to a new food vendor. Contact Trish Korsgren (tkorsgren@valuefirstonline.com) for more information.
